Installing
Run the installer and follow the wizard. It asks where to put the application and nothing else — no account, no provider details, no card.
Windows may show a blue “Windows protected your PC” panel while the installer is not yet signed by a certificate authority. Choose More info and then Run anyway. When the certificate is in place, that panel stops appearing.
Adding your playlist
Settings ▸ Playlist ▸ Add. Two kinds, and your provider gave you one of them:
- Xtream — a server address, a username and a password. Three fields.
- M3U — one long address ending in
.m3u or get.php?…. Paste it whole.
The catalogue is read once and kept, so it opens instantly afterwards. If your provider adds channels, Settings ▸ Playlist ▸ Reload.
The programme guide
Most playlists carry their own guide, and it is read automatically. Where a provider supplies one separately, paste its address in Settings ▸ Playlist — it outranks whatever the playlist declares.
Beside a channel you get what is on now and what follows. See the whole guide opens nine days, a day at a time.
Watching something that has already been on
Channels whose provider keeps an archive show a small marker in the list. Open the guide, find the programme, and press Replay.
It plays with a timeline you can drag, ten seconds either way with the arrow keys, and a preview frame under the pointer so you land where you meant to. Back to live at the top left returns to the broadcast.
On a television, with a remote
One press on a channel plays it; a second fills the screen. A back arrow sits at the top left of anything that fills the screen, so there is always a way out without a keyboard.
Everything else is on the bar over the picture: subtitles, sound track, favourites, the guide, and a sleep timer for whoever falls asleep in front of it. Subtitles too small from the sofa? Settings ▸ Playback ▸ Subtitles has size, colour and a solid box behind the words.
When the trial runs out
Everything works for 7 days. After that one activation code turns the same installation into a licensed one — see Activate. Nothing is reinstalled and nothing is lost.
