Everything works for 7 days without any of this. When the trial ends, one code turns the same installation into a licensed one — nothing is reinstalled, and your playlists, favourites and settings are untouched.

OneFind your two numbers
Open Vortex Player. On the home screen, on the right, are Device address and Device key. Both have a copy button beside them.
TwoAsk for a code
From whoever sold you your television subscription. Give them the two numbers; they make a code in seconds.
ThreeType it in the player
Home screen, Enter a code — or Settings ▸ Account. That is the whole of it.
What the two numbers are
| Device address | Looks like 6A:87:13:D2:9C:33. It is shaped like a network address because that is what people recognise, but we issue it — it is not read off your hardware and it is not sent anywhere by itself. |

| Device key | Nine characters, in case the address is mistyped. The two together say which installation; neither is a password, and nobody can watch anything with them. |
Changing device? Ask whoever sold you the licence to release the old device in their panel. The same code then activates the new one — you do not buy twice.
